I try to ensure that my teapots are fully functional as well as being works of art in their own right.  They all have anti-drip spouts and lids designed to minimise the risk of coming adrift when you pour. They are thrown from a single piece of clay with only minor decorative additions and this determines the organic shapes and personality I seek to portray.
