Delft Ceramica Award 2009
On Sunday 19 July in a wet and windy Delft John Townsend was presented with the Delft Ceramica 2009 award.
The jury, the artists Hans la Hey, Adie Huisman and ceramic collector Albert van de Pluym made the decision on the basis of quality, originality, and innovation and presented a Certificate and 2009 euros. A piece of his work will also be on show in the Vermeer Centre in Delft until 16 August 2009.
