It is always about the wheel, harnessing
the turning wheel to bring life and
form to the clay.
As I tease out the clay the tension between
its' elasticity and the spin enter the form to
overcome gravity until it stands
up and becomes itself.
I can think of two analogies:
the balence of wind and water whilst sailing;
the second is biblical,the raising of life
from the earth
